Desperation

After more than a century at war with the Hegemony, the Territories of the Twenty have suffered two catastrophic defeats:  the loss of their main uranium source for their warships at Dubrilla, and their failure in destroying the Hegemony's central base.
In desperation, Lieutenant Fleets Admiral William Savage takes a third of the fleet to parts of the galaxy unexplored by the Territories, but close to his home of Acronia.  Arriving in Lonsation space, Savage finds it has been taken over by the Hegemony and in order to take advantage of their uranium supplies, he must free Lonsatia and its colonies.  But to do so, he may have to reveal his cybernetic powers as he battles his cyborg brothers exiled long ago for attempting to take over and plunder the galaxy.
The missing fleet does not go unnoticed by the Hegemony, and plans are made to invade the capital of the Territories of the Twenty, Veloxora.  With part of the fleet in Lonsation space, Fleets Admiral Jarl Hawthorne and Prime Councilor Dale Renquard are left defending Veloxora short handed.
Will Admiral Savage be able to save the Lonsation colones, and will there be a home for him to return to at Veloxora?  And will the Territories of the Twenty survive?
